Idiot Supreme

Even though fame and fortune cause a lot of people to go off the deep end, do mad and crazy things, do immoral or selfish things, or really anything they want to do, it still sucks to find out that one of my favorite Red Sox is a really big jerk. Curt Schilling may be a rabid Republican who’ll say anything that George Bush tells him to, but at least he’s not a deluded philanderer. At least parents can point to him as a role model and not worry that their sons are going to grow up with the wrong idea of how to be a good family man. Steroids, schmeroids, I say.

Is it really possible to be repectable and a rabid republican? Yet alone the puppet of a felonius President? Perhaps you got swept up in Red Sox mania.

Harsh. I really don't think he's much of a "rabid Republican." He said on TV at the time that he was a John McCain supporter who campaigned for Bush because McCain asked him to. He then went on to cancel two appearances with Bush in New Hampshire, which is really the only "swing state" he would have conceivably had much influence in. And supposedly, he even apologized on a fan board for volunteering his views on the election. I think you're OK here, Moxie. ;-)
